Sue Merritt loved to sew. Many a night her family could find her in the wee hours sewing away. She also had a great fondness for dogs. What Sue didn’t have was a fondness for retirement.

When Sue was asked to make dog bandanas for a local 4-H club fund raiser, she discovered how much she enjoyed sewing, designing, and creating the fashionable dog accessories. She soon decided that sewing dog bandanas was much more fun than retirement, and Jing A Ling Dog Bandanas was born.

Today, you can join the ever growing group of stylish pooches that are sporting Jing A Ling Dog Bandanas. Available in two styles, ruffle or tie scarf, the hallmark of Sue’s great designs are the jingle bells that are hand sewn into each dog bandana. All of Sue’s creations are hand made in the USA, by Sue or one of her sewing assistants. Each dog bandana is made by hand by a senior citizen skilled in sewing who really enjoys making Jing A Ling Dog Bandanas much more than retirement.
